Conflict of Interest!!!
We know that Wil has a new building and all that…but I do not think that it is ethical for him to be marketing his new building in Wowowee. He is using the show to market his personal interests as well as political interests. We know that he is friends with Senator Villar but it seems that Willie is there to indirectly “promote” his choice for the coming elections. Mr. Villar was in the show the other day, where the kids of OFW’s, basureros were guests to play the TIC TAC TOE WEE (is this the name) on his birthday celebration but it clearly shows that it was staged. Willie should not be allowed to market his personal interests as well as his political interests in ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM. Is there someone out there who knows how to contact ABS-CBN directly or any agency in the Philippines who would take a look at this issue?

Let’s face it, Willie is Wowowee. You criticize Willie to bring him down, you better drop Wowowee from noontime entertain. People have accepted this host “as is where is”, regardless of his personal faults in his character which are all subjective judgement. Examples: you say he’s arrogant, I say he’s only proud of his accomplishments; you say, he’s using his show for a villar political purpose, I say he had brought to that same floor the children of other presidential wannabes like the estradas, you say he’s promoting his WIL apartment buildings, I say he’s doing justice to inform the general public because not a few Pinoys have already bought some rights, you say he’s rude to his co-hosts, I say that’s in the context of a director’s prerogative and Filipino culture. OK, Replace him? with whom? Not one from the roster of Kapamilya talents can equal Willie’s hard work and indefatigable hosting. He knows by heart his every more, the words to say, only reads cue cards when making network announcements and commercial. The bottom line, the network can give up Willie only when Kapamilyatis ready to accept defeat from Eat Bulaga and the GMA7 network.
I believe that Wowowee is not really the “people’s show” like Willie makes it out to be. All he does really is plug his assorted businesses/dealings for example: his cologne, Wil Tower, his Techno Marine watch, CDs. I mean don’t get me wrong thats free advertisement for him but I don’t want to watch Wowowee when all he talks about is himself and his advertising of his products. If he was to be taken off I believe that his female co hosts could carry the show like when he was suspended for the Aquino incident. I actually prefer them hosting anyways because if you think about it they have plenty of face time and they lead the whole show, while Will only shows up towards the end of certain segments. Also Will tends to play favoritism with the dancers such as making the Kembot girls, now don’t get me wrong adding new blood is fine but completely shutting out the ASF dancers to do small things is kinda disrespectful when the ASF girls have been there since the beginning and the Kembot girls have only been around since Jan 1 of this year. I agree with zipfree Will should keep his political opinions to himself as that makes ABS-CBN seem like they agree with Wills opinions about Villar. Host the show without involving politics. Just my opinion though
