I am Lea Ballesteros  from UST Graduate School in Manila. I am currently writing my M.A. thesis which is about TFC and Wowowee. My Master’s thesis will assess the role of “The Filipino Channel (TFC)” toward  strengthening the desire of Filipinos to connect with their homeland. I will  focus on the show Wowowee among the other shows on TFC since Wowowee have become one of the tourist attractions for ’balikbayans’ and OFWs.
